Today, CREO has grown into a global nonprofit with a rapidly expanding membership of more than 200 family offices, family foundations, and family-controlled enterprises, alongside over 100 institutional asset owners across 30 countries. Our broader community includes a network of more than 5,000 investors focused on sustainability.

Dedicated Working Groups
Launched in 2024, CREO working groups are sub-communities of members who commit to actively accelerate catalytic capital into persistent market gaps. Current areas of focus include Latin America, rising leaders, regenerative agriculture, nature-based solutions, first-of-a-kind project financing, emerging markets, and decarbonizing shipping.
CREO’s Research and Data Platform
Our new, proprietary web-based platform leverages CREO’s existing investment opportunity pipeline, insights, research, and expansive network. The result is a powerful and centralized platform for where our members and partners can filter and analyze the universe of sustainability-related investment opportunities, gain market knowledge and data regarding these sectors, and expand their knowledge base on a wide range of sustainability-related themes.
CREO Global Meetings
Members are invited to attend our flagship, all-community convenings—held twice annually, in Europe each spring and in the Americas each fall. Our plenaries, deep dive sessions, and breakout sessions explore a wide range of topics and themes across investing in sustainability.
With $30–70 trillion expected to transfer between generations by mid-century, families have the capacity to continue to substantively contribute to decarbonizing the planet.

With agility, flexibility, and drive, our members are well equipped to identify emerging opportunities, deploy strategic capital, and generate competitive returns while also de-risking sustainability finance and attracting broader institutional capital.

As of 2023, 45% of CREO members have invested over $60B into the sustainability private market and invested $530.6 million into philanthropic giving. With a combined portfolio encompassing over 1,900 sustainability-focused companies and investments in more than 500 sustainability-oriented funds across the community.
As a neutral nonprofit partner, CREO does not act as an investment advisor or broker dealer, nor do we charge any fees for aggregating investment opportunities.
